Pro-tip: As a #T1D, I am frequently asked, "Can you eat...THAT😳!?" (rough translation: THAT= anything delicious) The answer is yes. we. can. Even bread🙊

However, I find that different types of carbs have varying effects on my BGs. I opt for breads that are comprised of complex carbs (<12g net) & contain plenty of fiber to minimize blood sugar spikes & keep the digestive system running. My personal fan favorites are Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted grain by Food for Life (contains all 9 essential amino acids 👌🏻) & Mestemacher flax+ chia seed for happy shugs. Of course, they keep the good stuff on the top shelf... or maybe I'm the only one who actually eats this "cardboard." Unclear ...
