Guys, this is what actually happens when the fiancé goes away on his bachelor party...

Pro-tip: Besides my crazy indecisiveness ordering off menus (& knack for choosing the "losing dish" literally every time), the biggest struggle I face while eating out is mastering accurate carb counts. "Dressing on the side please" has always been my default, but I find that also requesting grains on the side helps me control portion size more easily. Now I don't recommend carrying measuring cups & scales out in the wild (not saying I've never done it before...), but once you've mastered how much let's say 1/2 cup of quinoa looks like, you can then make closer guesstimates of how much you're actually consuming when the grain is served separately (in this case, A LOT) - because counting out pearls of quinoa hidden beneath mounds of *massaged* kale? Don't got time for dat.
